Erika Jurado-Graham’s upbringing in Monterrey, Mexico by a single Mexican mother was marked by the economic struggles of the 1994 crisis, which ultimately led her family to immigrate to the United States in search of better opportunities. Despite the move, Erika remained in Mexico to complete her law studies.
Erika later obtained a Juris-Doctorate degree from Washburn University School of Law in Topeka, Kansas, where she distinguished herself as the president of the Hispanic American Law Student Association and served as a two-term secretary for the Federalist Society for Law and Public Policy.
Following her graduation, Erika established her own law practice in the heart of the Immigrant Community in Kansas City. She is licensed to practice law in Kansas, Missouri, Texas and Mexico. As a knowledgeable immigration attorney, Erika helps immigrants navigate complex immigration laws and has become a respected figure in the immigrant community.
In 2009, Erika started her journey in social media marketing, creating videos that answered frequently asked questions on her Facebook business page. Her creative and engaging content caught the attention of viewers, and she quickly gained a significant following. She now has close to a million followers on Facebook and over 376,000 subscribers on her successful YouTube channel, which averages 1.6 million monthly views. Erika is also an active live streamer on TikTok. With a combined audience of over 2 million followers across all platforms, Erika has established herself as a leading figure in immigration law for Spanish-speaking immigrants.
Alongside her social media presence, Erika has built a successful legal practice, focusing in family immigration, VAWA, U visas, and naturalization. Erika lives in Kansas City with her husband and three children. She is passionate about inspiring and educating others, both through her content and her professional work.
