The house of representatives has voted to block DAPA and DACA. The senate is yet to vote but experts believe they will also vote to block the deferred action for both dreamers and parents. However, the president has stated that he will veto any proposal to repeal DACA and DAPA. We will see what happens on the next few days. This is why I recommend people to not see the executive action as their only avenue of relief but to attempt to obtain status through a more permanent way such as a family petition, U visa, VAWA, etc.
